About Me
My first school report said I showed exceptional promise and enthusiasm in the area of Art and Crafts. I was 5. I think maybe I still show some promise.
I’m a graphic designer and work from my home in the beautiful Whangaparaoa Peninsula, Auckland, New Zealand – where I live with my fiancé and our two young boys. I’ve been scrapbooking for around 9 years, and in that time have been on a number of design teams, both in New Zealand and internationally. These teams have included Australian manufacturer Rasberry, US magazine Scrap ‘n Art, New Zealand magazine Up2Scrap (both as an Elite Team member and Senior Designer), an Educator for US Manufacturer Shimmerz and a Design Diva for Scrapbook Creations Magazine as well as a number of retail teams. I’m currently an Educator for Prima and a designer for both Australian chipboard manufacturer Twiddleybitz and distributor Aussie Scrap Source.
My work has always involved experimenting with different products and finding new ways of using them, and through the years I’ve discovered and learnt a lot of new techniques that I love to share through my classes and online video’s. My style varies depending on the project and the range of products I’m working with, but it’s always very dimensional, heavily detailled and often with a vintagy edge.
When I need a break from scrapbooking you’ll often find me crocheting, knitting, playing with polymer clay or creating one of a kind jewellery which has been sold internationally.
